Ingredients

  • 500 g ready-to-cook shrimps
  • 1-3 Chillies
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 walnut-sized piece of ginger tuber
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Peanut oil
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3 Stem(s) Coriander
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chili
  • 1 package (50 g) Krupuk (Far Eastern crab snacks

Directions

    Wash the shrimps and pat them dry. Carve the chili lengthwise, remove the seeds. Chop the pods. Peel garlic, press through a garlic press. Peel ginger and chop very finely.

    Wash, clean, quarter and seed the tomatoes. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Heat the oil. Fry the prawns for about 3 minutes while turning, then set aside. Sauté garlic, ginger and chilli in the frying oil. Add tomato cubes and soy sauce, bring to the boil once. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Add shrimps again and simmer at low heat for about 4 minutes. Chop the coriander and fold in.
