Wash the chicken and pat dry. Cut into 6-8 pieces. Peel garlic and chop finely. Wash parsley, dab dry and also chop finely. Melt butter in a small pan, add garlic and fry over low heat while turning. Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper. Brush chicken parts with garlic butter, turn in the breadcrumbs and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Spread the rest of the breadcrumbs on top and sprinkle with the rest of the garlic butter. Bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 50-60 minutes. In the meantime clean and wash the tomatoes. Heat olive oil in a pan, add tomatoes and braise for about 15 minutes at low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange chicken pieces and braised tomatoes garnished with basil on plates. Delicious with baguette
