Wash the chicken legs, dab dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the legs on both sides until golden brown. Fry over a low heat, turning several times for 20-30 minutes.
Line baking tray with baking paper. Spread the chips on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes. Turn once after about 15 minutes. Season thighs with paprika.
Serve with the french fries. Garnish with salad.
