Chicken gyros with salad in flat bread

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 300 g Chicken filet
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 package (20 g) Gyros spice " for pan & grill"
  • 1/2 Iceberg lettuce
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 30 g black olives (without stone)
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 200 g Schmand
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 (approx. 500 g) Flatbread
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salad

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into strips. Mix oil and gyros spice. Marinate the meat in it for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, clean, wash and drain iceberg lettuce and cut into strips. Clean, wash and slice the tomatoes. Cut olives into slices as well. Wash chives, dab dry and cut into fine rolls. Mix sour cream and chives. Season with salt and pepper. Fry the meat with the marinade in a pan while turning for about 3 minutes. Cut flat bread into quarters and cut a pocket into each. Put some tomato and olive slices aside for garnishing. Fill the rest of the tomato and olive slices, lettuce and gyros into the bread. Arrange on a plate. Garnish with tomato and olive slices and lettuce if you like. Add extra sour cream sauce
