  • 7-10 Tbsp milled pepper
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS demerara sugar

Directions

  1. 1

Mix vinegar and white wine. Put the chicken, currants and apple rings in a bowl, pour the vinegar-wine mixture over them and marinate for about 1 hour. Peel onions and cut into rings. Slit 1-2 chillies lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into small cubes. Remove the meat from the marinade, dab dry and fry in oil, season with salt and remove. Put onion rings in the frying fat and fry briefly. Add the marinade with the soaked fruit and the chilli cubes.

Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. Add the meat and cook for 10 minutes. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and sugar. Wash the chives and cut half into small rolls. Arrange meat and sauce on a plate and sprinkle with chives. Garnish with remaining chives and chillies. Rice tastes good with it
