Drain the cherries well on a sieve. Roughly chop the chocolate. Beat the fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt until foamy. Stir the eggs one after the other into the fat-sugar mixture. Mix flour, baking powder and cornstarch, sieve onto the fat-egg mixture and stir in.
Add cherries and chocolate to the dough. Put 3-4 paper cups (5 cm Ø) into each other. Pour the dough into the paper cups by the spoonful, place on a grid and bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200°C/ gas: level 3) for 25-30 minutes. Take the cakes out of the oven, let them cool down and serve. Results in about 16 pieces
