Clean, wash and stone the cherries. Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar. Gradually stir in the eggs. Season with salt and cinnamon. Add milk. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in. Spread the dough evenly on the greased fat pan of the oven. Spread the cherries on the dough. Beat the eggs, sugar and marzipan. Stir in sour cream. Pour over the cherries and bake the cake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas mark 3) for 30-40 minutes. Dust with icing sugar before serving. Results in approx. 24 pieces
