Ingredients

  • 500 g Prunes
  • 750 g Low-fat curd
  • 75 g Fresh cream
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 2 packages Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Semolina
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Apricot Jam
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar crystals
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Wash the plums, dab dry, halve and stone them. Cut halves into slices. Mix quark, crème frâiche, sugar, lemon juice, eggs, pudding powder and semolina. Pour the quark mixture into a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø) dusted with flour and smooth it down. Spread plums evenly on top. Bake the cake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 50-60 minutes. Cover after approx.

    minutes if necessary. Remove the cake from the oven. Remove from the edge of the springform pan with a knife and let it cool down for about 2 hours. Heat the apricot jam and pass through a sieve. Spread plums with it. Sprinkle with sugar crystals
