Cheeseburger with fries and Cole Slaw

Ingredients

  • 500 g White cabbage
  • 200 g Carrots
  • 250 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 4 Burger buns with sesame
  • 100 g Cucumber
  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 leaves Picking salad
  • 750 g Beefsteak minced meat
  • 8 discs Scheibletten cheese (e.g. Cheddar)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Tomato Ketchup
  • 4 TABLESPOONS hamburger sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley
  • baking paper

Directions

    Clean and wash the cabbage and cut out the stalk. Slice the cabbage or cut into fine strips. Peel and wash the carrots. Cut or slice into sticks. Mix yoghurt, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of oil.

    Season with sugar, salt and pepper. Mix the vegetables and marinade and let it soak for at least 1 hour. Halve the rolls and lightly toast on both sides. Wash and clean the cucumber and cut into thin slices.

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the lettuce leaves and dab dry. Season mince with salt and pepper. Form into 8 wide, flat meatballs. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in two pans. Fry the meatballs on each side for 4-5 minutes.

    Cole slaw one more time. Garnish with parsley. Cover the lower burger halves with salad. Place 1 meatball, 1 slice of cheese, meatball and cheese on top. Spread cucumber slices and onion cubes on top.

    Spread 1 tablespoon each of ketchup and hamburger sauce on top. Finish with the lid of the bun. Serve burgers immediately with Cole slaw. French fries taste good with it.
