Cheese plate with orange baskets

Ingredients

Servings: 5
  • 3 Oranges
  • 1/4 Iceberg lettuce
  • 100 g Soured milk
  • 3-4 Tbsp Salad Mayonnaise
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Orange juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, chili powder
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 30 g Walnut kernels
  • 200 g Hard cheese (e.g. Comté and Sbrinz)
  • 100-125 g Semi-soft and semi-hard cheese (e.g. old Gouda and Tiroler Bergbauernkäse)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chervil, grapes and salad

Directions

    Orange baskets: Wash the oranges, rub them dry and cut them in half in a zigzag pattern. Remove the flesh and dice. Clean, wash and cut the salad into strips. Mix soured milk, mayonnaise and orange juice, season to taste. Mix salad and orange cubes, fill into the orange baskets. Add dressing, dust with chilli

    Cheese platter: Roughly chop the nuts. Finely slice Comté and Sbrinz. Break the Gouda into large pieces. Cut mountain farm cheese into thick slices. Arrange everything. Sprinkle Sbrinz with oil and sprinkle with nuts. Garnish plate with chervil, grapes and salad. Served with: baguette
