Cauliflower with meat sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Cauliflower (about 1 kg)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 3 Onions
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 TABLESPOON dried herbs of Provence
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Sauce thickener
  • 50 g Gouda cheese
  • 20 g butter/margarine

Directions

    Clean and wash the cauliflower, cover and cook in boiling salted water for about 25 minutes

    Onions peel and cut into slices. Heat the oil. Fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add onions, herbs and tomato paste and fry briefly. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Stir in 3/8 l water, bring to the boil and thicken with sauce thickener if necessary. Everything approx.

    Stew for 5 minutes

    Pour the chopped sauce into an ovenproof dish. Lift out the cauliflower, drain and place in the sauce. Grate the cheese and spread it over the cauliflower. Put fat in flakes on the cabbage. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/recirculating air:175 °C/gas: level 3) for approx. 10 minutes. Served with: mashed potatoes
