Caramel puff pastry slices

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 6 discs (à approx. 12 x 12 cm; à 50 g) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 150 g Whipped cream
  • 3 (approx. 500 g) Bananas
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 1 Splash of lemon juice
  • baking paper

Directions

    Place puff pastry slices next to each other on a baking tray lined with baking paper and allow to defrost. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 20 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool

    Cut the puff pastry slices in half horizontally. Caramelise 50 g sugar with 1 tsp. water and decorate the puff pastry lid with it. Caramelise 200 g sugar with 2 tbsp water and deglaze with cream. Let it boil down for about 1 minute. Remove from the heat and let it cool down a little. Peel and slice the bananas and mix with the caramel sauce

    Mix quark, 50 g sugar and lemon juice. Spread the quark on the puff pastry bases, cover with banana slices, place the lid on each and serve immediately
