Fruity lentil soup

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Leek (leek; approx. 400 g)
  • 10 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 2 small pears (about 150 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 2 can(s) (850 ml each) Lentil stew
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Maple syrup

Directions

    Clean the leek, cut into rings, wash. Wash the thyme, shake dry, remove leaves from the stalks except for a little garnish. Wash pears, quarter them, remove seeds and cut quarters into fine slices

    Heat the fat in a saucepan and sauté the leek rings for approx. 3 minutes. Add lentil stew and bring to the boil. Heat maple syrup in a pan and caramelise pear wedges in it for about 2 minutes while turning. Season with thyme. Arrange soup and pear wedges. Garnish with thyme
