Camembert Steak Slices

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2–3 Spring onions
  • 4 Minute or butterfly steaks (à approx. 125 g; from pork)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Rapeseed oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 6 small tomatoes
  • 200 g Camembert
  • 4 thick slices of white bread

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the spring onions into large pieces. Dab meat dry. Heat the oil in an ovenproof pan. Fry the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.

    Take it out. Sauté the spring onions briefly in the frying fat, also remove.

    In the meantime wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices. Cut the cheese into slices.

    Put bread in the pan. Cover with steak, spring onions, tomatoes and cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/circulating air: 200 °C/gas: level 4) for approx. 10 minutes.
