For the chutney, peel, core and dice the apple. Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the apple in it. Stir in chutney and mustard and simmer covered for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper.
In the meantime, preheat the oven for the cheese (electric oven: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Cut the cheese in half crosswise. Place in a flat casserole dish with the cut surface facing upwards. Bake in a hot oven for 5-7 minutes. Serve with chutney. Bread chips go well with it.
