Brussels sprouts soup with Kasseler

Ingredients

  • 150 g Potatoes
  • 150 g Brussels sprouts
  • 120 g detached pork chop
  • 300 ml Vegetable bouillon (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 stem(s) Thyme
  • 15 g Light cream
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper

Directions

    Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Clean, wash and halve the Brussels sprouts. Bring the bouillon to the boil. Add sprouts and potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes. Wash and dab dry Kasseler and cut into cubes. 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the smoked pork loin and let it simmer.

    Season with salt and pepper. Wash the thyme, dab dry and pluck leaves, except for a few, from the stalks. Add thyme to the soup. Put crème légère as a blob on the soup and dust with cayenne pepper
