Bruschetta with tomato-basil

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 2 TABLESPOONS + 1 tsp oil
  • 6 discs Ciabatta bread (approx. 15 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 2–3 Tomatoes
  • 2 stem(s) Basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the slices of bread in it from both sides until brown, season with a little salt, remove

    Clean and wash the spring onion and cut into fine rings. Wash, clean, quarter and seed the tomatoes. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Wash basil, shake dry, except for something to garnish, pluck leaves from the stems and cut into thin strips. Mix tomato cubes, spring onion and basil in a small bowl. Fold in 1 tsp. oil, season with salt, pepper and a little sugar

    Arrange the tomato mixture on the bread, garnish with basil leaves
