Ingredients

  • 300 g baby potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Onion
  • 400 g Sauerkraut
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 150 g Mushrooms
  • 2 discs Kasseler chops (a approx. 200 g)
  • 1/2 bunch Chives

Directions

    Peel, wash and halve the potatoes. Cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. Then drain. In the meantime peel onion, cut into slices. Drain the sauerkraut.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté the onion, sauerkraut and bay leaf over a high heat for 10 minutes, add the potatoes and fry for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. In the meantime clean, wash and slice the mushrooms. Heat the remaining oil in another pan. Fry the chops and mushrooms for about 12 minutes while turning. Season with salt and pepper. Mix mushrooms and sauerkraut. Wash the chives and cut into small rolls.
