Braised cucumber pan with minced meat

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1-1.2 kg Gherkins
  • 1 big onion
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt - pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 500 g mixed mince
  • 1 TEASPOON clear soup
  • 1 collar Dill
  • 150 g Herb cream cheese

Directions

    Cucumbers wash, clean, peel, halve lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Cut the cucumbers into thick slices. Peel and quarter onion and cut into fine slices.

    Pour rice into 400 ml boiling salted water, cover and let it swell at low heat for about 20 minutes.

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the mince in it until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Add cucumber and onion and fry briefly. Add 1/4 l water and stock. Bring everything to the boil and braise for about 10 minutes.

    Wash the dill and chop finely, except for something to garnish.

    Stir cream cheese spoon by spoon into the cucumbers and melt at a mild heat. Fold in dill. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with the rice and garnish with remaining dill.

    Drink tip: cool cider or apple spritzer.
