Braised cucumber pan with meatballs

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg Gherkins
  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 3 uncooked fine bratwursts
  • 3/8 l Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Sauce thickener
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/2 bunch Dill

Directions

    Peel and halve the cucumbers and remove the seeds. Cut the cucumbers into pieces. Clean, clean and halve the mushrooms. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Peel and finely dice onion. Heat oil in a pan.

    Press the sausage meat as balls into the pan, fry it all around and take it out. Add cucumber, mushrooms and onion to the pan and fry. Pour in stock, bring to the boil and cook for 10-15 minutes. Add cream, bring to the boil and thicken with sauce thickener.

    Add tomatoes and dumplings, season with salt and pepper and bring to the boil briefly. Wash the dill, shake dry and chop finely, except for something to garnish. Sprinkle the dill on the cucumber pan and garnish.

    Dill potatoes taste good with it.
