Braised cucumber pan with meatballs

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 kg Gherkins
  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 3 (approx. 300 g) uncooked fine bratwursts
  • 1 TABLESPOON Flour
  • 100 g Schmand
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 collar Dill

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook them in salted water for about 20 minutes. Peel cucumbers, cut them lengthwise in half and remove seeds. Cut cucumbers into pieces. Clean mushrooms, wash briefly and cut in half. Wash and halve tomatoes.

    Peel and finely chop the onion.

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the sausage mixture as balls all around for about 5 minutes and take it out.

    Sauté onion, cucumber and mushrooms in hot frying fat. Dust with flour and sweat briefly. Stir in 200 ml water and sour cream. Bring to the boil and simmer covered for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Stir in tomatoes and meatballs and heat. Wash the dill, shake dry, cut finely and sprinkle on top. Arrange everything.
