Berries au gratin with quark topping

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 600 g mixed berries
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Liqueur (e.g. crème de cassis)
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 250 g Edible curd
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • 4 Currant panicles
  • 4 TSP Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar and lemon balm

Directions

    Clean, wash and possibly chop the berries. Sprinkle berries with liqueur and marinate for about 10 minutes. Separate the egg. Mix quark, egg yolk, vanillin sugar and icing sugar until smooth. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the quark mixture.

    Fill berries into glasses. Pour curd onto the berries with a spoon. Gratinate under the preheated grill for 3-5 minutes. Take care that the curd does not get too brown. Moisten the currant pancakes and turn them in sugar.

    Dust the quark hood with icing sugar. Decorate with currant panicles and lemon balm.
