Bernese style sausages

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 1 washer medieval Gouda (approx. 125 g and 1/2 cm thick)
  • 6 (à 100 g) scalded bratwursts
  • 12 discs Bacon
  • 1 Aluminium grill tray (perforated)

Directions

    Cut the cheese into 6 thick strips. Cut the sausages lengthwise on one side (do not cut through). Press cheese strips into the incisions. Wrap each sausage with 2 slices of bacon and place on a grill tray if necessary.

    Grill on the hot grill all around for 8-10 minutes.
