Ingredients

  • 2 can(s) ( 425 ml ) white beans
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 8 small tomatoes
  • 12 black olives
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh basil

Directions

    Put the beans on a sieve and rinse under cold water. Place in a bowl. Peel onions, dice finely and add. Peel garlic and press it through the garlic press or chop it finely. Mix vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper and add oil. Pour the marinade over the beans and leave to stand for about 1 hour. Wash and slice the tomatoes and place them on 4 plates. Fold the olives into the beans and arrange on the tomatoes. Garnish with basil leaves. Serve with a slice of farmhouse bread
