Bean and onion salad with pork steaks

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 800 g green beans (e.g. French beans)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 4-6 thin slices of breakfast bacon
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Vinegar (e.g. balsamic vinegar)
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS grainy mustard
  • 5-6 Tbsp Oil
  • 4 (approx. 300 g) Pork steaks
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley z. Garnish

Directions

    Clean, wash and break the beans into pieces. Cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. Then drain them

    Peel and chop the onion. Cut the bacon into pieces. In a frying pan crisply leave out, take out

    Mix vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and sugar, fold in 4-5 tablespoons of oil. Mix with beans and onion and leave to stand for a while

    Wash and dry steaks if necessary. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the bacon fat. Fry the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side (or brush the steaks with 1 tablespoon of oil and grill them on the hot grill for 4-6 minutes). Season with salt and pepper

    Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Line a plate with them. Put bean salad on it and sprinkle bacon on top. Serve with the steaks. Garnish with parsley if necessary.
