Coarsely chop nuts and pistachios. Boil up sugar and 5 tablespoons of water. Simmer for about 1 minute until the sugar is dissolved. Add orange peel, nuts and pistachios
Wash figs thoroughly and dab dry. Carve each fig crosswise at the top. Place in 4 ovenproof baking dishes and drizzle pistachio-walnut syrup over them. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas mark 3) for approx. 12 minutes. Remove from the oven. Add 1 scoop of ice cream and serve
