Baked apples and vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 2 Protein (size M)
  • 100 g Hazelnut kernels
  • 6 medium-sized, sour apples (approx. 150 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Anise stars
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon stick
  • 150 ml Lemon juice
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 package Dessert sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp "Vanilla flavored"

Directions

    Knead marzipan paste, egg white and hazelnut kernels. Clean and wash the apples. Cut off lid. Cut out the core. Spread marzipan paste in and on the apples. Put the lid on top.

    Alternately cover with cloves, aniseed stars and cinnamon stick. Place apples in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle with lemon juice. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 30 minutes.

    In the meantime, mix 3 tablespoons of milk, sugar and sauce powder for the sauce. Boil up the rest of the milk. Add the sauce powder while stirring and bring to the boil. Serve the vanilla sauce with the baked apples.
