Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 6 square slices(à 45 g) of deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 2 rosy-cheeked sour apples
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cinnamon
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Pomegranate seeds
  • baking paper

Directions

    Place puff pastry slices next to each other and defrost in a warm place for about 10 minutes. Wash and quarter the apples and remove the core. Cut quarters into thin slices and sprinkle with lemon juice.

    Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the puff pastry briefly on the sugar-cinnamon mix (approx. 1 cm wider). Turn 2 opposite sides approx. 1/2-1 cm to the middle and press firmly. Spread apple slices in the middle.

    Place the puff pastry on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
