Preparation, flour, sugar, butter and egg in a mixing bowl. Knead everything with the dough hook of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of about 5 mm. Use a cookie cutter to cut out about 50 hearts (4/5 cm Ø). Put the biscuits on 2 baking trays greased with oil.
Bake one after the other in the preheated oven on the middle shelf (electric oven:175 °C/ gas: level 2) for 10-12 minutes. Stir jam until smooth and spread half of the still warm biscuits with the jam. Place a second heart on each and press down firmly. Leave to cool on a kitchen grid. Dust with icing sugar
