Apple mulled wine

Ingredients

  • 2 thin slices of ginger (approx. 6 g)
  • 1 (0,7 l) bottle of pure, naturally cloudy apple juice
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 1 (approx. 10 cm) Cinnamon stick
  • 250 ml dry cider (cider / cider)
  • 125 ml dry red wine
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1/4 Apples

    Peel the ginger. Put apple juice, ginger, star anise and cinnamon stick into a pot, bring to the boil and let it simmer at low heat for about 5 minutes. Add cider and red wine, heat up again and season with sugar. Remove cinnamon stick, star anise and ginger. Core the apple and cut into 4 thin slices. Divide hot apple mulled wine and apple slices into 4 glasses or cups
