Peel, halve and core apples and cut them into slices. Drizzle apple slices with lemon juice. Mix 250 g soft fat, 250 g sugar, vanillin sugar and 1 pinch of salt with the whisk of the hand mixer until thick and creamy.
Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder and cinnamon. Alternately stir the milk into the fat-egg mixture. Grease a fat pan of the oven (32 x 39 cm) and dust with flour.
Put the dough on the fat pan and smooth it down. Spread the apple slices evenly on the dough and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil 250 g fat, 300 g sugar and honey in a pot. Add cornflakes and fold in. Spread everything on the cake and bake at the same temperature for approx. 25 minutes to finish. Take the cake out of the oven, put it on a cake rack and let it cool down.
Cut the cake into 24 pieces. Dust with icing sugar. Whipped cream tastes good with it.
