Serbian rice meat with colourful paprika

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 300 g Pork escalope
  • 500 g colourful peppers
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 500 g Meat Tomatoes
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 3/8 l Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 (250 ml) bottle of steak sauce with fiery pepper

Directions

    Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into strips. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces. Peel and chop onions and garlic.

    Cut out the stalk of the tomatoes. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes. Peel skin. Cut tomatoes into pieces. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the meat for about 5 minutes while turning it, season with salt and pepper and remove.

    Fry the onions, garlic and paprika in the frying fat, season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and stock and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in meat. Drain rice, let it drain and fold in as well.

    Stir in steak sauce and warm up briefly.
