Apple-bacon pancakes

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 100 g Flour
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 16 discs Bacon
  • 5 (125 g each) smaller apples
  • 12 Stem(s) Marjoram
  • 4 TSP clarified butter
  • 4 TABLESPOONS light syrup

Directions

    Mix eggs, flour, milk and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Let rest for 30 minutes. In the meantime cut 8 slices of breakfast bacon crosswise into three pieces.

    Wash apples, remove seeds and cut crosswise into 4 slices. Wash marjoram, dab dry and chop up to 4 stalks. Heat 1 teaspoon of clarified butter in a pan. Brown 4 apple slices and 6 bacon strips in it, finally add marjoram.

    Add 1/4 of the dough and fry. Turn the pancakes over and fry until done. Fry 3 more pancakes in the same way. Finally, fry the remaining apple and bacon slices until golden brown. Arrange the pancakes and garnish with apple and bacon slices and the remaining marjoram.

    Drizzle with syrup.
