Ingredients

Servings: 16
  • 500 g Flour
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 250 g butter/margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 250 g Icing sugar
  • 2 Protein (Gr. M)
  • 1 (100 g) Dark cake glaze bag
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chocolate lentils and fruit gums
  • 7-10 Tbsp cling film, cardboard
  • baking paper
  • 1 Freezer bag
  • 7-10 Tbsp red ribbon

Directions

  1. 1

For the dough, first put flour, sugar, vanillin sugar, salt and eggs in a mixing bowl. Cut the fat into pieces and spread it over the ingredients. Now knead everything first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer and then with your hands to a smooth dough. Cut it in half, form it into balls and wrap them in foil. Put the balls then approx.

  2. 2

    30 minutes in the refrigerator

  3. 3

Now make a stencil from cardboard: Copy a dog's head from this side and enlarge it to approx. 10 x 15 cm. Let us help you with this if necessary. Then preheat the oven: Electric stove: 200 °C (Circulating air: 175 °C / Gas: Level 3). Knead one half of the dough and roll it out to a thickness of approx. 1/2 cm on a floured work surface. Now cut out about 8 heads along the template

  4. 4

Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper using a spatula. Put it in the oven and bake the heads for 12-15 minutes. Let them cool down on a grid and bake another 8 heads from the rest of the dough. Mix icing sugar and egg white. Spread the heads with it and let them dry

  5. 5

Then melt the glaze in a hot water bath as instructed. Put it in a freezer bag, knot it and cut a very small corner at the bottom. Now use it to paint outlines, dots and faces on the heads. Decorate the Dalmatians with candy and bows and let everything dry well
