Young braised cabbage with minced meat

Ingredients

  • 2 Onions
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 (approx. 1.2 kg) young cabbage
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 500 g mixed mince
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1/4 Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1/4 Tomato juice
  • 1/2 bunch Dill
  • 4 tablespoons (20 g each) Fresh cream

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Clean the cabbage, quarter it and cut out the stalk. Wash the cabbage, drain and cut into strips

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the mince in it until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Sauté cabbage, onions and garlic in the frying fat while turning for about 2 minutes. Stir in tomato paste, sweat briefly. Add minced meat again and season everything with salt, pepper, paprika and sugar. Deglaze with stock and tomato juice. Bring to the boil, cover and stew for about 15 minutes

    Wash the dill and chop finely. Season the braised cabbage if necessary and serve with crème fraîche. Sprinkle the dill on top. Goes well with grainy rice
