Wrapped grill skewers with onion curd

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 6-7 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1⁄2 Tsp Curry
  • 1 TEASPOON Sweet peppers
  • 2–3 medium-sized onions
  • 16 fine slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pork Belly
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 200 g Schmand
  • 250 g Cream curd
  • 4 tablespoons (approx. 50 g) ready roasted onions
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 16 Grill skewers (e.g. wooden skewers)

Directions

    Soak wooden skewers in water for about 1 hour. Mix oil, curry and paprika. Peel onions and cut them into wide slices.

    Put an onion wedge on each skewer and push it down. Put one end of the meat on each skewer and push it down. Wrap the meat around the skewer and up. Spit the end on the spit as well.

    Spread the skewers with marinade and let them stand for at least 30 minutes.

    Peel and finely chop the garlic. Mix with sour cream, quark and fried onions. Season with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar.

    Grill the skewers all around for about 10 minutes until crispy. Spread the rest of the marinade over the skewers and season with salt. Add the onion quark.
