White cabbage pan with mince

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small head white cabbage (500 g)
  • 1 collar (200 g) Spring onions
  • 300 g Tomatoes
  • 1 collar Oregano
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 tablespoons (10g each) Oil
  • 150 g Couscous
  • 400 g Minced beef
  • 1 TEASPOON Caraway seeds
  • 1 tablespoon (16 g) Tomato paste
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Quarter the white cabbage, clean it and cut out the stalk. Wash cabbage, cut into small pieces. Leek onions clean, wash, cut into wide rings. Tomatoes wash, clean, cut into large pieces.

    Wash the oregano, dab dry, put some aside for garnishing, chop the rest finely. Boil 150 ml salted water and 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot. Remove from heat and stir in the couscous, let it swell for 3 minutes.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan. Fry the minced meat in it. Add white cabbage and fry for about 5 minutes, turning frequently. Cook the couscous at low heat for 3-4 minutes. Add spring onions, tomatoes, oregano and caraway seeds to the white cabbage and fry briefly.

    Add tomato paste, sweat it, deglaze with broth. Let simmer for about 3 minutes, season with salt and pepper. Garnish with oregano put aside. Serve with couscous.
