White cabbage packet with sausage filling on arrabbiata sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Head White cabbage (approx. 800 g)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 300 g Nuremberger rib steak sausages
  • 8 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sunflower oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 400 g Spiral noodles
  • 1 package (370 ml) tomato sauce arrabiata"
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen yarn

Directions

    Clean cabbage, wash it. Bring salted water to the boil in a large pot, blanch cabbage in it for 5-8 minutes. Drain, remove 8 outer leaves and cut the leaf veins straight. Use the remaining cabbage for other purposes.

    Onions peel and cut into cubes. Clean, wash and dice the peppers. Cut sausage into slices. Thyme wash, shake dry, leaves, except for something to garnish, pluck from the stalks and chop.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion in it. Add the sausage and fry for approx. 5 minutes, turning. Season with thyme, salt and pepper. Place 2 cabbage leaves on top of each other and fill with paprika-sausage mixture.

    Wrap as a package and tie up with kitchen string. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and fry the cabbage packets in it over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, turning them over.

    Heat the tomato sauce. Arrange cabbage parcels, noodles and sauce on plates and garnish with thyme.
