Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 40 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 75 g Dark chocolate
  • 25 g Flour
  • 15 g Cornstarch
  • 1 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 100 g Walnut kernels
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 150 g Dark chocolate coating
  • baking paper
  • 1 small freezer bag

Directions

    Separate eggs. Place the fat and salt in a mixing bowl and beat until creamy with the whisk of the hand mixer. Add egg yolks one after the other and stir in. Chop the chocolate. Mix flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Add to the egg-fat mixture together with the chocolate and stir in.

    Finely grind the walnuts. Beat egg white until stiff. Add sugar and vanillin sugar. Fold in 1/3 of the beaten egg white and the walnuts with a dough scraper. Carefully fold in the rest of the beaten egg white. Line 1 baking tray with baking paper. Add 21-22 blobs (1/2 teaspoon) of dough and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 8 minutes. Let it cool down on a cake rack. Bake the rest of the dough in the same way. Melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath. Pour into a freezer bag.

    Line 1 baking tray with baking paper. Add 21-22 blobs (1/2 teaspoon) of dough and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 8 minutes. Let it cool down on a cake rack. Bake the rest of the dough in the same way. Melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath. Pour into a freezer bag. Cut off a small corner and decorate the cookies with a grid. Makes about 65 pieces
