Vodka-Gooseberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 800 g green gooseberries
  • 2 stem(s) Mint
  • 1/8 l Vodka
  • 75 ml Woodruff Syrup
  • 1 kg Gelling sugar 1:1
  • 60 g Pistachio kernels

Directions

    Clean and wash gooseberries. Wash mint, pluck leaves. Mix fruit, vodka, syrup and jam sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil over high heat while stirring.

    Add pistachios and mint. Again, let it boil for 3 minutes while stirring continuously. Then pour into carefully prepared glasses and close them well. Results in approx. 4 glasses (from 200ml-300ml content).

    Store in a dark and cool place.
