Veal steak with green pepper sauce

Ingredients

  • 200 g baby potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 Veal steak approx. 200 g
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON pickled green and red peppercorns
  • 75 ml Meat broth (instant)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sherry (Amontillado)
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cornstarch
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kiwi, Cape gooseberries, star fruit and parsley to garnish

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook them in salted water for about 20 minutes. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the meat for 3 minutes on both sides. Remove, season with salt and pepper and keep warm. Add peppercorns, broth and sherry to the roast.

    Mix starch in a little cold water and thicken the sauce with it. Season to taste with salt. Arrange the meat with the sauce and the potatoes on a plate. Garnish with kiwi slice, Cape gooseberry, star fruit slice and parsley. Broccoli tastes good with it
