Two kinds of meatballs with chips

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 1 can(s) (212 ml) Vegetable corn
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 750 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1 TABLESPOON medium hot mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 2 discs (30 g each) cooked ham
  • 50 g grated gouda cheese
  • 1/2 Head picking salad
  • 200 g Tomatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 150 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 100 g Salad cream (16 % fat)
  • some stem(s) Parsley
  • baking paper

Directions

    Soak rolls in water. Drain the corn. Peel 1 onion, dice finely. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Squeeze the bread roll well. Knead with minced meat, onion and egg.

    Halve the mixture. Add tomato paste, paprika and corn to one half and mustard to the other. Season both masses with salt and pepper and knead. Form 4 meatballs out of each mass. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Put the meatballs on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes. Halve the ham slices. 5 minutes before the end of the baking time, spread ham and cheese on the mustard meatballs. Wash and drain the salad. Peel 1 onion and cut into rings. Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes.

    Put the meatballs on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes. Halve the ham slices. 5 minutes before the end of the baking time, spread ham and cheese on the mustard meatballs. Wash and drain the salad. Peel 1 onion and cut into rings. Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Peel garlic and press it through a garlic press. Mix with yoghurt and salad cream and season with salt and pepper. Wash parsley, dab dry and cut into strips, stir into the cream. Arrange salad and meatballs on a plate, add sauce. French fries taste good with it
