Ingredients

  • 2 Onions
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 2 large carrots
  • 250 g small mushrooms
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 1 (approx. 1 kg) Turkey thigh
  • 2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sweet peppers
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Peel onions and garlic. Cut onions into slices, halve garlic cloves. Peel, wash and cut carrots into pieces. Clean and wash the mushrooms. Peel and wash potatoes and cut them into pieces.

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut from the bone in pieces of about 4 cm.

    Place all the prepared ingredients in a large bowl. Add honey, paprika powder and oil. Season with salt and pepper and mix everything well. Then spread on the fat pan of the oven and pour 200 ml of water.

    Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/circulating air: 200 °C/gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 1 hour. Cover with aluminium foil after about 40 minutes. Sour Cream goes well with it.
