Tuna steaks on crisp salad

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 4 Tuna steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 1 collar Parsley
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2-1 TEASPOON coarse salt
  • 4-5 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 1 Romaine or lettuce
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon wedges
  • 7-10 Tbsp to garnish

Directions

    Wash lemon hot. Finely grate the zest, squeeze the juice. Wash tuna steaks, pat dry. Sprinkle with lemon juice and leave to stand briefly

    Wash the parsley and chop the leaves. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Mix both with lemon peel and coarse salt

    Dab tuna steaks dry. Fry in 2 tablespoons of hot oil at medium heat for approx. 4 minutes on each side

    Mix vinegar, salt and pepper. Whip 2-3 tablespoons of oil into it. Clean, wash and cut the salad into bite-sized pieces. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Peel onion and cut into thin rings

    Arrange the prepared salad ingredients on a plate, drizzle the marinade over them. Season tuna steaks and arrange on top. Sprinkle with the lemon mixture. Garnish with lemon if desired. Served with: bread (e.g. ciabatta)
