Tomatoes au gratin with mozzarella and herb mixture

Ingredients

  • 2 packs (125 g each) Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 collar Basil
  • 1 collar Oregano
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Sunflower seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh herbs

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes and cut out the stem base generously. Drain the mozzarella and dice finely. Wash the herbs, dab dry and chop. Coarsely chop the sunflower seeds. Mix cheese, herbs and sunflower seeds and season with salt and cayenne pepper. Brush a casserole dish with olive oil.

    Add tomatoes and spread the cheese mixture on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes. Cover if necessary in between. Serve sprinkled with fresh herbs. Italian bread tastes good with it
