Toast sushi with vegetables and wasabi sour cream

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 400 g Carrots
  • 500 g Kohlrabi
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 1/2 (75 g) Radicchio
  • 125 g Schmand
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Wasabi paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 12 discs Sandwich toast bread
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film

Directions

    Peel the carrots and kohlrabi and cut them into thin sticks about 5 cm long. Sprinkle the vegetables with approx. 1/4 teaspoon salt, mix and leave to stand. Wash and clean spring onions and cut them into approx. 5 cm long diagonal rings. Clean and wash the radicchio and cut into thin strips

    Mix sour cream and wasabi, season with salt and possibly pepper. Cut the crust off the toast. Roll out toast slices one by one between 2 layers of foil with a dough roll. Spread 1-2 teaspoons of wasabi cream on each slice of toast, cover with salad, place strips of vegetables on top and roll up tightly

    Wrap the rolls tightly in foil and chill for about 30 minutes. Shortly before serving, wrap the rolls in foil and cut each into 3 pieces. Serve immediately
