Clean, wash and stone the cherries. For the dough, mix the fat and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Add spices. Stir in eggs one by one. Mix flour, baking powder and melting flakes, stir in.
Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (24 cm Ø). Spread cherries on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 1 hour. Then let it cool down and sprinkle with icing and decorating sugar.
