Ingredients

  • 50 g Raisins
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Rum
  • 4 sour apples (à ca.170 g)
  • 150 g Marzipan
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon
  • 20 g Icing sugar
  • 1 package Dessert sauce "Vanilla flavor
  • 6 TABLESPOONS + 440 ml milk
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar

Directions

    Wash the raisins, dab dry and soak in rum. Wash apples and grate dry. Cut off the upper quarter and remove the core with a ball cutter. Knead marzipan, raisins, rum, some cinnamon and icing sugar with your hands and fill into the apples. Place the apples in a casserole dish.

    Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 25 minutes. After about 10 minutes, place the "apple lid" on the apple and bake until done. Stir the sauce powder with 6 tablespoons of milk and sugar until smooth. Bring 440 ml milk to the boil and stir in the sauce powder. Bring to the boil again while stirring and serve with the warm apples
