Onions peel and cut into very fine slices. Clean, wash and dry lettuce. Cut lettuce into strips. Wash chervil, shake dry and pluck off the leaves
Heat butter in a pot. Sauté onions in it. Add 150 ml water, cream and stock. Bring to the boil. Add frozen peas, bring to the boil again and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper
Fold lettuce and chervil under the peas and serve immediately with ham. Boiled potatoes taste good with it
