Strawberry-Lime Jam

  • 1,75 kg Strawberries
  • 3 Limes
  • 500 g Gelling sugar 3:1

Directions

    Washing and cleaning strawberries. Weigh 1.5 kg of fruit flesh and cut into small pieces. Wash limes, grate dry and thinly grate the skin of 2 limes. Halve all limes and squeeze them.

    Heat strawberries, lime juice and jam sugar. Simmer for approx. 4 minutes until bubbly. Add lime zest. Immediately fill jam into clean jars (preferably with twist-off lids) and close them tightly.

    Place glasses upside down for about 5 minutes. Turn them over again and let them cool down. Store jam dark and cool.
